Who is Paul Teutul Jr.?

Born Paul Michael Teutul Jr. on the 2nd October 1974, in Orange County, New York USA, he is primarily a motorcycle manufacturer – the owner of the Paul Jr. Designs motorcycle manufacturing company – but is probably best known to the world for his appearances in the reality TV series “American Chopper: The Series” (2002-2010), and its spin-off “American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior” (2010-2012).

Early Life and Education

The oldest child born to Paul Teutul and his first wife Paula, he grew up in Orange County with his brothers Michael and Daniel, and sister Cristin. His father, Paul Sr. is one of the most prominent motorcycle manufacturers who in 1999 started the Orange County Choppers, but even before that had his own fabrication firm, called Orange County Ironworks. Unfortunately, there is no information about Paul’s education, however, inspired by his father’s work, Paul joined the family business, and ever since has been into motorcycle design and manufacturing.

After Paul Jr. left OCC, he started his own motorcycle manufacturing company, Paul Jr. Designs, and begand building his own bikes, as well as making adjustments to old ones, such as P-51 Mustang, GEICO Armed Forces and “Black Widow” Bikes, along with other projects. Back in 2005, Paul Sr., Paul Jr. and Michael Teutul faced a lawsuit for fraudulent transfer, filed by Tom Derbyshire who was Paul Sr’s. business partner, and financed the creation of “American Chopper: The Series”. Tom was to be included in the show and receive profits, but Paul Sr. found a way to exclude him from the deal, hence the lawsuit, which eventually put Paul Sr. out of the business and forced him into bankruptcy, while Orange County LLC had to pay out $500,000 to Tom.
